Snowfish B.V., established in 2019, is a subsidiary of IGT Testing Systems and PNO Global.
The Snowfish Technology has developed into three different area’s:
Snowfish offers the analytical tools (the Snowfish instruments) as well as the analysis and reporting technology (the software) and services for the three processes mentioned.
The Snowfish Counterfeit Technology is designed to analyse counterfeit banknotes and provide tools for an in-depth statistical analysis approach. It can measure and analyse various printing details and compare these with the counterfeit characteristics that have been forensically defined, thus providing a unique “fingerprint” of each counterfeited banknote.
The Snowfish instrument integrates all functionalities needed for high-end quality control of newly printed banknotes. The print quality is analysed objectively and standardized based on requirements and tolerances defined by the Central Bank. The analysis results are available instantly and combined on one screen, allowing immediate determination if the analysed note meets the requirements and, if not, why not.
The Snowfish SP creates objective and consistent banknote fitness decks. Standardized and consistently reproduced banknote fitness decks improve the control by Central Banks over desired fitness levels in circulation and enhance control over sorter machine output, thereby supporting the clean note policy.
