History of Snowfish

The initial Snowfish technology was invented by Mr. Tom Buitelaar, a former employee of the Dutch National Bank and the European Central Bank. In 2016, PNO Global and Mr. Buitelaar started a collaboration, and IGT Testing Systems joined this collaboration the same year. The focus was on transferring the prototype to a sophisticated standardized tool for the banknote sorter process. Since 2019, other technologies have been developed, and services like Snowfish Service on Demand were introduced. Several conferences have been attended, including High Security Conferences, Banknote Conferences, Currency Conferences, and the Counterfeit Expo Las Vegas.

Our mission

Snowfish BV aims to be recognized as a reliable supplier of sophisticated analysing instruments for high-security documents. Snowfish provides support to the industry in the analysis process or can conduct analyses for specific market segments.

Our vision

To develop and sell instruments that solve customers’ problems and/or improve the quality of existing analysing processes.
To prevent future problems by solving specific customer issues.
To optimize the use of knowledge in various disciplines: security, paper, printing, ink, analysis, statistics.
